Dr. Dhruv Nath

Dr. Dhruv Nath - Professor and Chairman, IT Management, MDI - Gurgaon

Dr. Dhruv Nath has a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (First Class with Distinction), and a PhD in Computer Science, both from IIT Delhi. Prof Nath spent nearly 20 years with NIIT Ltd. before joining MDI.
At NIIT, he launched and headed several new initiatives, such as NIS, LEDA, and the e-Business Consulting Practice. His last assignment at NIIT was creating and heading NIIT’s CRM Practice, as Senior Vice President.

Prof. Nath has been a Consultant to the Top Management of several organizations such as Glaxo, Apollo Hospitals, Gillette, Nestle, Indian Oil Corporation, Bajaj Auto, etc. He has also conducted Top Management Programs in e-Governance for the Prime Minister of Namibia and the Chief Minister of Delhi.
He was invited by the Ministry of Science and Technology to deliver the National Science Day Lecture in 2001. He has also been a visiting faculty in the Computer Science Department at IIT Delhi.
His main interests are in simplifying IT Technologies for non–technical audiences. In this connection, he has written two books, “The Nuts and Bolts of e-Commerce” (published by Tata McGraw-Hill in 2002) and “The Nuts and Bolts of CRM” (published by Tata McGraw-Hill in 2004).
